The brief was to design a 2-bedroom dwelling within the garden of ‘Summerhouse’ which will is a modern detached building with a pool.
The design of Springhouse is contemporary in nature and draw’s reference from the existing building.
It has been designed with a mixture of stonework, painted render, timber boarding, zinc sheeting and a sedum roof finish.
The build exploits the natural contours of the site and includes a cantilevered section.
Internally the dwelling also benefits from a lift to provide disabled access between floors
