It was clear from our very first meeting that not only did you get what we were aiming to achieve as an outcome but that you would add value and creativity to the project and understand how we wanted to be involved with and enjoy the build process.

As client we had some reasonably set ideas in terms of how we wanted the space to operate but were delighted by the excellent input you provided in terms of the energy efficiency, new and innovative insulation products and methods that have all added to the end product. I was very impressed with how you were able to introduce new concepts and demonstrate why they were both appropriate and a good long-term solution. I was particularly pleased with the use of the Steico insulation and Wraptite breathable membranes to the first floor to ensure the house not only exceeded the required ‘U’ values but also unlike many other ‘timber frame’ solutions created a space that would not heat up and cool down to quickly. It also helped ensure that the building was watertight from an earlier stage and enabled us to progress inside.
Your ability to swiftly respond to any queries or technical questions raised was superb and helped ensure we could make all the right decisions at the appropriate times so thanks again for that.

The knowledge ARK had of the local market and your ability to recommend first rate professionals and trades was greatly appreciated and really assisted a newcomer to building in Cornwall.
